Nine years ago, our church started out as a Bible Study Group seeking to empower people in the Word of God and help them to build up their faith in crisis moments. However, God had other plans for this humble Bible Study. Because of the power of God and the supernatural results of the Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles, many of the Bible Study participants were revived and the group began to increase and grow. This is when we felt led by the Spirit to birth The Mouth of God Ministries. God spoke to Apostle Winston and said, “I’m giving you a fresh Word for your generation: for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

The Mouth of God is divinely positioned in the Greater Greenspoint neighborhood of the North Houston District. Greenspoint is one of Houston’s major business districts, but suffers greatly from the climaxing threat of violence and severe poverty. The Mouth of God’s presence in the community has shown to be purposeful and effective in demonstrating God’s love and advocating change.
